ABOUT NUTPAA
Nutpaa is an early-stage deep-tech company building real-time human movement perception and intelligence using computer vision, machine learning and 3D modeling.
Our culture centers on technical depth, strong engineering ownership, peer collaboration, long-term thinking and patent-protected innovation. We are looking for builders who are comfortable shaping architecture, writing production code and helping a cross-functional team deliver reliable products.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Lead Computer Vision & AI Architect to own the technical direction of our core perception stack while remaining deeply hands-on.
You will lead the development of real-time computer vision, 3D perception, multimodal AI and edge-deployment capabilities. You will also help ensure that engineering, design and product requirements come together as one coherent system.
This is a technical-lead and product-ownership position—not a purely people-management role. You will help define the technical roadmap, translate product goals into clear requirements, guide execution and mentor a small engineering team through architecture, design and code reviews.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Own technical and architectural decisions across computer vision, 3D perception, multimodal AI and edge deployment.
• Translate product objectives into clear requirements, priorities, module boundaries and acceptance criteria.
• Plan and coordinate engineering execution across milestones, dependencies and measurable quality targets.
• Remain hands-on with production code, technical prototypes, testing and performance evaluation.
• Establish clean engineering practices across design reviews, code reviews, automated testing, documentation and experiment tracking.
• Define clear interfaces between perception, application, edge and supporting engineering systems.
• Work closely with computer vision, machine learning, full-stack, product-design and hardware-engineering teams.
• Mentor computer vision and AI/ML engineers through technical guidance and thoughtful review.
• Contribute to documenting and protecting Nutpaa’s original technical innovations.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 7–10 years of experience in computer vision, AI or machine-learning engineering.
• Experience owning technical direction or architecture for complex, real-time systems.
• Demonstrated ability to remain hands-on in code while guiding architecture, execution and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong understanding of 3D and projective geometry, including rigid-body transformations, rotation representations and triangulation.
• Practical experience with 2D or 3D pose-estimation systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python, NumPy, SciPy and OpenCV.
• Experience writing performance-oriented C++.
• Strong experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Experience evaluating or adapting multimodal and Vision-Language Models.
• Experience optimizing and deploying machine-learning models to edge or embedded environments.
• Familiarity with deployment tools such as ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, TensorFlow Lite or Core ML.
NICE TO HAVE
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or a related discipline.
• Publications at recognised computer-vision or machine-learning conferences.
• Experience contributing to patents or other original intellectual property.
• Familiarity with biomechanics, fitness technology, sports analytics or AR/VR.
• Familiarity with agent systems, tool calling or Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN
• Meaningful ownership of the technical direction of an early-stage human-movement intelligence platform.
• A hands-on leadership role combining architecture, product ownership and engineering.
• Direct involvement in developing and documenting patentable technology.
• The opportunity to influence engineering practices and product decisions from an early stage.
• A potential path toward broader engineering or architecture leadership as Nutpaa grows.
HOW TO APPLY
Send your CV and a short introduction describing your relevant experience and why you are interested in this role.
